I think that everypawdy must recognize this zip code from the TV show Beverly Hills 90210. Last Sunday I had a chance to check it out for myself at the Woofstock 90210 event held at Roxbury Park in Beverly Hills. The event was sponsored by the City of Beverly Hills with the support of pets 90210, The Pet care Foundation. It was a pawesome day, the weather was pawfect and sooo many people came! here is the poster for the event:
There were signs everywhere so getting lost or getting confuzzled was not an option, and there were lots of people on hand to help! We found the entrance and the big blue arrow told us that we were headed in the right direction:
Of course, if there is a contest to enter I want to enter it, so mommy signed me up for the best dressed contest:
I wore a lovely ensemble that day, and so did my furrend Coco Puffz, but we got upstaged by another dog dressed as a rubber duckie in a bathtub so Coco and I tucked our tails under and were convinced that we were robbed. Actually, it was Coco that was robbed, her dress was so much prettier than mine and she should have won. We vowed that next time we would not confuse “Best Dressed” with “Costume Contest,” hmph.
There were a lot of wonderful vendors selling some really fabulous things, and in addition to the Pet Parade there was also a Disc dog Demonstration, an Old English Sheepdog Parade, a Pet talent Show, and a Pet Adoption event that was well attended by many rescues with dogs available including southern California Pomeranian Rescue. here are some pictures of us with our furrends:
The attendance was pawesome and we were busy talking to people about our dogs all day. We did get applications for three doggie adoptions that day! My furrend Chacho Hollywood came to see me and we took a little spin in his convertible. Chacho is the Roving reporter for dog Days in LA magazine and he covers all of the big events in and around Los Angeles:
Another furrend and fellow volunteer for SCPR is Shana Olson, Ms California 2013. Shanna came to help us at the adoption booth, here is a group picture of her with her Pommie, Kobe, with Chacho Hollywood and me:
It was such a busy day, I must have posed for a thousand pictures. I just love it when mommy gives me a hug and a tickle, and tells me what a special girl I am. I do work hard to help our rescue Pommies to find their furever homes, and sometimes all I need is a kiss:

Bella
